The stable’s young horses continue to develop and impress. The win of the Danzero colt Danzylum at Wangaratta was very encouraging and we believe that he will go to win better races over the coming weeks.

The debut runs of Rainband (by Hurricane Sky) at Wangaratta and French King (by Desert King) at Echuca were also very good and it appears that they will both progress in the coming weeks. French King is expected to following in the footsteps of other Desert King horses (Desert War, Makybe Diva etc) and to improve as the distance of his races increases. Shares are available in this very nice racing 3YO from a winning family.

The first-up run of Cocinero at Caulfield yesterday was great. His effort in running second after starting from barrier 17 was top class and was a great preparation for a race during Cup week at Flemington. This is an exciting prospect for his loyal group of owners.

Victoria’s top priced filly at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in February and offered to stable clients is known as Nuclear Force. Nuclear Force trailed successfully at Cranbourne on Monday last, winning her trial by 4 lengths eased down and beating the $2.6 million sister to Alinghi. This was an excellent trial by a very classy filly.

Other stable horses to trial well were Count to Zero (by Danzero) and Dance Plan (by Strategic) and these two horses will commence their campaigns in the coming weeks.

The success of Commands as a sire continued with the great run of Court Command in the Guineas and you are reminded that we still have shares available in very attractive yearlings by Commands, Danehill Dancer and Peintre Celebre and we will be happy to discuss these with you.

The weekend saw some great racing at both Flemington and Randwick. The Stable, as you would be aware, did not have runners at either venue but it did have a link to some of the impressive runners and winners.

It is interesting to note that Bentley Biscuit who impressively won The Shorts (1100 metres) at Randwick on Saturday is by Peintre Celebre out of a Last Tycoon mare and thus is bred on the same cross as our Peintre Celebre / Hawaiian Island colt, who is very alike Bentley Biscuit, in which shares are still available.

The success of the Choisir 2 YOs, Hurried Choice (Winner, Gimcrack Stakes) and Choisism (Placed, Maribynong Trial) was also interesting. Choisir is bred on the same cross (Danehill Dancer from a Lunchtime mare) as the Danehill Dancer colt we purchased at the Yearling Sales earlier in the year. Shares are also available in this very attractive colt.

You will have also followed the amazing progress of Court Command and his elevation to favoritism for next Saturday’s Caulfield Guineas. Commands has proven himself as a sire of quality horses and the Commands colt that we still have shares available in is recommended for your inspection.

The Stable had runners at Benalla and Sale over the weekend and whilst not successful, all ran well. Vaingtlago and Pietro Vannucci will all be improved by excellent first up runs.
