Flash effort
September is always a big month for everyone in the industry – first month of spring, carnival looming etc.
But for the owners of Racer’s Edge 3YO, Flash Kid, the month was very interesting to say the least.
Racing for the first time at Sale on 7 September, Flash Kid was beaten a head over 1006m then, 11 days on, grabbed another second over 1000m at Bendigo. Finally, on 29 September, Robbie gave the chestnut another shot at glory – this time over 1217m at Moe – and he ran third on a dead track.
A win would be very nice – sometime very soon – but it’s difficult to argue with consistency.
We

the yearlings have now been broken in and have completed some training
